Welcome to O.K. Kids, Inc.

O.K. Kids, Inc. is a school-aged program (grades K-6) which provides a safe and fun environment for your child before school , after school, during vacation weeks and for summer breaks for a reasonable fee. Students are offered a variety of activities to participate in, including crafts, building, outside playtime, dramatic play, homework, as well as special activities and community visitors.

Do you need care over the April break? We will be open from Tuesday, April 7th through Friday, April 10th. Please fill out the google form linked below to sign your child up. If you are new to the program, you will also need to fill out the registration form found on our forms and handbook tab.

After School

The afterschool program runs from dismissal until 6pm, in the primary school for grades K-6. Homework help is available. Snacks are brought from home every day.

The cost is $265.00 per month, starting in September 2024.

Before School

O.K. Kids will not be providing Before School Care at this time (2023 - 2024 School Year)

The Before-School program runs from 6:45 AM to 7:50 AM in the Primary school cafeteria. This program is for students in grades K-3. Children participate in activities ranging from board games to gym time. Primary students are released to their classrooms at 7:50 AM.

Program costs are:

4-5 days per week - $100 per month
3 days per week - $70 per month
2 days per week - $57 per month

In the event that the Ichabod Crane School District has a delayed school opening, the O.K. Kids, Inc. program will open the Before-School program on the same delay schedule.

Summer Camp

Providing children with experiences and activities that spark their interest and provide them with a fun and enjoyable summer. Each week has a new theme with fun activities planned around the theme, or special occasions planned.

Children are taken on field trips weekly - no extra fee charged for trips.

8 or 9 one- week sessions throughout the summer (closed the last week of August).

Campers can arrive as early as 7:15 AM , program closes at 5:45 PM.

Cost is $325/week with discounts for multiple children and early payment for 6 weeks or more, as well as a 150.00 per child enrollment fee.

Vacation Club

O.K. Kids operates a Vacation Club during all three school vacations (December, February, April). The Vacation Club runs from 7:15 AM to 5:45 PM.

The daily activities offered range from crafts and outdoor time to games and other organized activities. Each vacation period will feature one field trip (movies, bowling, etc).

The children will be offered a time to eat both a morning and an afternoon snack as well as lunch, which is all brought from home.

Cost is $ 55.00 per day, starting in the 2024-25 school year

All district students are welcome to attend vacation club, you do not need to be enrolled in the before and after-school programs to attend the Vacation Clubs.
